Sacramento Horse Boarding, Riding Lessons, and Rental Rides - Birthday Parties
Do you have a horse-crazy child in your life who really wants a party on horseback?
We would love to have our stable be part of your celebration. We can send out up to 5 children at a time and require 1 adult to accompany them on a guided trail ride. Got a larger group? No problem! Call our office and we can make special arrangements to make sure everyone gets to ride.
We have a picnic area which can be reserved for your use for opening presents, celebrating with cake or enjoying a picnic. We have Valentino and Clementine, our charming pygmy goats, available for cuddling and petting, and chickens for the little ones to watch. We also have Huckleberry, our mini horse, who loves to meet new children and show off.
Birthday Trail Ride Options:
All children must be at least 8 years of age, and 1 adult must go with each group of children.

Additional Services:
These activities can be added to your trail ride for a small additional fee. These are great activities to add for after the ride and can be participated in by almost everyone.

Show, Tell, Dos Options:
- 1. Grooming – this includes talking about grooming and hoof care and hands on grooming time
- 2. Saddling – this includes a detailed explanation of all the pieces of a western saddle and how they help us ride and assisting in saddling
- 3. Feeding – this includes looking at different types of feeds and their importance to a horse's good health in addition to safe feeding practices and feeding some of the horses treats and hay

*** We do not encourage children feeding the animals by hand as it encourages the animals to bite fingers looking for food. Please understand this policy is for the safety of the children and the animals.

Please Note: We are not able to provide party supplies, decorations, or refreshments. Please plan to bring items necessary to complete this portion of your party yourself. We do not allow balloons and streamers as we have found balloons, children and horses do not mix.
