Effective December 15th we will not be scheduling private lessons on weekdays until Spring 2012. Please keep this in mind when planning your winter and early spring riding schedule. We still have availability for lessons on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the winter, weather permitting. Thank you!
Shadow Glen Family Stables offers private horseback riding lessons. We focus on Western trail riding, with some time spent in the arena when learning new skills and techniques or working on discipline specific maneuvers. If you've had lessons before, or already have riding experience, we can assess the best place for you to get started. Our instructors are courteous and attentive. They will talk to you about your goals and expectations and help you progress your riding skills. Please note the number of lessons available in a given day is limited. Reservations must be made at least one day prior to the anticipated lesson date. Reservations must be made by phone or in person. We do not accept reservations by e-mail. We have guides on call, but we have to let them know they will get the pleasure of riding with you the night before. Please call in advance so we can have the right horse and guide waiting for you! Lessons may be canceled (or rescheduled) due to high temperatures, heavy rain and/or heavy wind – riders will be notified the morning of the ride if it is going to be canceled. Riders are not financially responsible for the ride in the event the ride is canceled by Shadow Glen Family Stables. Lesson Prices
